Our fantastic foster mom Molly is doing an amazing job with her ABR foster dog Chance. You may remember that Chance was dumped at DeKalb animal control by his owners who said he'd been "bitten by a snake". We got him to a specialist and it actually looks like he electrocuted himself by biting into a power cable. He was never taken to the vet for care but his sunny disposition and willingness to forgive gave him the second chance he so deserved.

Animal cruelty is easy to see when a dog is emaciated. Overfeeding a dog can also result in animal cruelty.

In Georgia you usually see two spikes in stray beagles - one in November when hunting season starts and one in February when hunting season ends.

Poor Joey! Rescued from the streets, then rescued from a shelter, only to be diagnosed with parvo just hours into being safe and sound!
