Do you adopt outside of Georgia?

The short answer is yes.

The longer answer is that it can take a while. We have a few requirements for out of state adopters:

  • We need to be able to find a legitimate rescue near you to do the home visit. The home visit will include photos.
  • We cannot hold a dog indefinitely. If you are madly in love with one of our dogs and want us to hold it through the home visit (which we will try and get done as quickly as possible) we will need a non-refundable deposit. You do not need to pay another deposit if a different dog ends up being a better fit during the process.
  • You will need to pay for ground transportation of the dog via an approved transport company if you cannot come yourself or have a relative assist.
  • We may require a 2 week check in with the person who did your home visit as a follow-up to make sure the transition is going smoothly.
  • If the adoption is not working out you must contact us IMMEDIATELY so that we can make arrangements to have the dog returned to us or transfered to an approved local rescue.

Please contact us with any questions you might have.
