I spent the day with Melissa Roberts from Barking Hound Village Foundation Rescue and it was lots of fun! Barking Hound Village Foundation Rescue is a quarantine facility that holds animals from Fulton County Animal Services in quarantine so they can safely go to rescues. It's a really great project and has been wildly successful. We pulled two dogs from them today (CJ and Bandit). Melissa pulled a gorgeous big husky mix and an owner surrender Lab mix that would have been euthanized about an hour after intake because of space issues at the shelter. I got lots of doggy kisses and plenty of new dog hair had a great day talking rescue with my friend.
