Fostering can be hard because it's easy to get attached to these dogs. They are sweet and funny and do ridiculously cute things on a daily basis. Fostering is a calling - not everyone can do it. We know that when we bring a dog in as a foster we are giving it a second chance at life and are going to be able to find it the best possible home because we get to know the dog. Adopting a dog that has been fostered is a totally different experience than one of adopting a dog that's been living in a shelter. Not that you shouldn't do that too (adopt directly from a shelter)!
As a foster home you provide a service not only to the dog and the rescue group, but to the eventual adopter as well.
