Poor Manny! He's had quite the few weeks! First he's found as a stray in Lilburn, GA. The people who find him can't keep him and we didn't have room at the time and they were going to take him to a shelter. At the last minute a woman stepped forward and took him in. That didn't work out and now Manny is in foster care with us. We are going to try and see if we can't find his owner because we have a very hard time believing an obviously spoiled indoor dog was tossed out on the street at age 12+.  He was already neutered and he was found with a pretty clean collar on. Dogs are abandoned all over the country with a nice clean collar on, but we've got a gut feeling about this guy and think someone may be missing him.

Manny has a bad right eye - it looks like an old injury. He's also got some lumps and bumps and is definitely overweight. He's going to the vet on Monday to be checked out and checked for a microchip.

Manny went to work today and did great. His favorite thing to do is sleep, so he did plenty of that between brisk walks and being very active when someone was microwaving their lunch!

When Manny is on a walk and sniffing, he actually sounds a bit like a pig sniffing for truffles. It's very cute. He is so sweet and so laid back!

Manny has plenty of life left in him and plenty of joy for living.
